Theoretically speaking, which law course senior with a brain that functions normally would give a dammit concern on those freshies who all along in this world have no inkling what ‘respect’ is?

Like the word ‘freshie’ suggests - these year ones are young, innocent and perhaps too overly (x1000000000) enthusiastic to prove their worth. Yeah yeah yeah, I understand I was once a freshie too. But I’m (or rather, we are) not too FRESH to the extent that I (or rather, we) could get ignorant of things around me (or rather, us).

Seniors - Yes man, we have prior stake that’s why we never STOOP THAT LOW to groan or complain when we lose a match.

We are off-putting NOT. And we were labeled ‘******* seniors’ by them. What an amazing reward for doing nothing wrong!

But-

DO I LOOK LIKE I FREAKING CARE?

Then someone questioned - what have we done to earn their respect?

Those little whinnies of so called ‘respect’ from a bunch of sore losers equals to being presented with heaps of cow dung.

Okay, let’s consider this issue so unwisely raised - What’ll happen if we earn their respect?:

1) They will build statutes of us beside the statue of liberty.
2) They will welcome us with limousines that have waving little flags that says ‘Law course seniors of 2005 - TP’s pride and joy’.
3) They will dance ‘Cha-Cha’ as a farewell performance for our graduation ceremony next year.
4) They will replace those maids and be our ‘Maria’s.

DREAMTIME’S OVER!

But then, this is what will happen if we STOOP SO LOW to earn their respect when they don’t deserve us to do that:
1) Tom Cruise will shot up to a height of 180cm.
2) The Germany stadium will play the Singapore national anthem during world cup 2006.
3) Tigers will turn vegetarian
4) Water sinks beneath oil instead of the other way.
5) Cows will quack and ducks will moo.

This world is getting crazy.

Dear Freshies, wish you guys HAVE A NICE LIFE. Have fun drafting your charge for criminal procedure, have fun preparing your contract law presentation.. And overall, HAVE FUN HAVING A NICE LIFE.

What a splendid movie it was!! It was amusing to see Jay act and I like every bit of the car racing scenes, especially the last race between Jay and Edison. How I wished my chair would move along with the car’s directions!! Everything about the movie is just so cool that even Today Newspaper give it a rating of 4/5.

Man, it was a full-house show today with only the front 3 rows unoccupied. Most of the audiences were teens and obviously, mostly fans of Jay. The funny thing was, when ‘The End’ appeared, some people got up to leave. Then when the credits started rolling in with the theme song composed by Jay playing at the background, many who were leaving paused and those who didn’t get up stayed to listen.

LOL!! The very Rnb cum ‘Jayish’ music captured everyone’s attention and no one was leaving the cinema even though the show had ended!! Almost everyone (including me and my sis) stayed to listen to the music. It was the first time I came across a movie where approximately 90% of the audience stayed for the credits to finish rolling.. Because the background music is just so funky and hip!!

Although the plot of ‘Initial D’ wasn’t particularly gripping, there is enough style and humor to get your fullest attention. The movie-makers really make Jay and Edison so cool!! I like to watch that heck-care face of Jay’s and serious expression of Ed when they were racing.

The romance encounter of Jay was also sweet but rather sad in the end. Some girls in the cinema were sort of ‘ahhing’ and ‘awing’ when Jay shed tears LOL.

Then I saw the newspapers earlier on that ‘Initial D’ has beaten ‘Batman’!! There were 280,000 tickets sold out on ‘Initial D’’s first day of release!! Now I can’t wait for the soundtrack.

‘It is not your inner self that identifies you. It is what you do that defines you.’

It gotta be a record today for watching a movie at 10 in the morning. ‘Batman’ wasn’t that bad after all though a little long-winded. At least Christian Bale doesn’t portray himself as an artificial cool macho guy who knows nuts about being heroic but still act as though he’s the pride of the world. No no. I’m glad he did not do that.

The whole movie makes sense. Now we know that Batman is after all not Superman. He needs to take charge of everything detail from his own costumes, to his weapons and even his vehicle. He even needs to make those bat-shaped daggers himself. What a joke it must be for a hero who stands on the rooftop whenever victory is on his side.

Thinking about act-cool, act-tough guys in movies who in reality would be the first to scream at the sight of mice reminds me of the Mr Pitt in ‘Mr and Mrs Smith‘. Seriously, no normal being can stand movies that’s all about characters being suave and slick in front of the camera. Then in the end there’s no moral behind that storyline and you walked out of the theater feeling dumb to have sat in the freezing room for 2 goody hours. And you feel even dumber to have spent money to watch people act cool and tough.

Today felt like a trance, as though I have never done anything which I have in fact did today. I’m not even sure I really did attend MLOCT tutorial. Nevertheless, Christina Lim’s sarcasm is enough to wake me up from my dreams.

Yo guys!! Go listen to Jay's 'The Road North' under my songlist.. Nice!! **thumbs up** I downloaded some backstage screens clips of Initial D and man, I'm looking forward to see Jay act.. LOL.. Some parts are sort of comical while some, a different side of him ^^,

This week is damn crazy and busy!!

Take care peepz.. especially those in TP. I guess you guys must be living off hectic schedules like me.

Yesterday was the SIP launch and we are told to write resumes to the firms we're interested to work in. Damn shiat this is scary cos we must go through interviews (that is, if the firm we wrote our resume to call us) in order to get that job.

At first I thought if we failed to find a firm that will take us in the end, the school will help. But no, this isn't happening in my course. If we fail to even secure a place in the SIP, we are marked to have failed the SIP and have to wait till next year. Sobs, this is scary -.- What if I can't graduate with my pals?

I watched Madagascar with Shikin last afternoon and well, the cartoon is entertaining but I just thought the ending is a little arupt. Mostly kids in the movie but I think Shikin laughed the loudest.

Drink more water people!! You won't want sore throats and coughs!! The weather is getting weird. Sizzles!!

There’s this musky smell lingering around the classroom where I have Company law tutorial. It’s like the stench of dried dirty socks blend with dampen sweat. Stuffing inside the room for 2 goody hours feels like a trance, like you’d never get out of that place ‘brain-alive’. Moreover the lesson starts in the mid afternoon, worst of all immediately after that mind-saturating company law lecture.

Weird thing is, it seems like only Gloria and I notice that smell. -.-

Then today for CAP tutorial, there’s this smell in that classroom (a different room) again.

The thing I want to emphasize is that no one sits in front of the school computer in the late afternoon just to blog some silly issues about smells or whatever.

However, there’s still forty minutes to spare before I serve the dummy writ on the defendant’s (so-called) solicitors.

So in conclusion this week has been crazy.

And in prediction the upcoming weeks are goanna be mad like nobody’s business.

Last Thursday I was sitting in front of the television screen at 10pm, watching ‘LOST’ together with my family. I have no idea why but it seems like a couple of my relatives are hooked by the show even before the telecast of the first episode. My 2nd Uncle was getting all whiny and in complaint when he found out that it’s a series kind of thriller where it’s a weekly telecast and not the movie type. My Aunties discussed about the show every now and then. Just when the show started that night, my eldest uncle called my family.. Yeah.. called us and tell us to watch LOL.. Duh like we won’t.. -.-

‘LOST’ is a very captivating series (thou it reminds me of Sec 4 Literature ’lord of the flies’) and I was so surprise to see Dominic inside!! At first, I was wondering who the hell this Charlie person was and was damn sure I saw him before in some other films! LOL he reminds me of LOTR that troublemaker hobbit. And WTH he is that hobbit lah! -.-

Then halfway through the show, there was this sudden blackout in my house and goddamn shiat there was darkness all around and the TV screen was shut in a snap!! Stupid household blackout and just when we thought it was the whole of the block 251, it only happened in our unit LOL.. By the time the problem was solved, we had miss some parts of the show but thank God we didn’t miss THAT much.

Things always goes the wrong side when we thought nothing could get worse. There’s this ‘tradegy’ in school where one of my friends had to leave our group so that the uninvited one could stay. Yet after sorting out my thoughts, this might not be that bad a situation after all. Despite being in different groups, everyone of us has someone in the group we can click along with. Furthermore here comes a chance to evaluate and improve on interpersonal skills.

I’m so grateful my brain didn’t fuse and caught fire each time I came out of the Company Law lecture. Tuesday is the day I dreaded. 2 hours of Company Law lecture and without break, straight into 2 hours of Company Law tutorial is no funny joke. It’s annoying and full of grief whenever the lecturer says he’ll not elaborate a certain slide but after ten or more agonizing minutes, he’s still at that slide, talking non-stop.

Never mind its okay… it’s his first time teaching.. Lol shall pardon him since he seems really keen to teach us just that there’s communication breakdown.

Tuesday tomorrow. Hip hip hooray!! Company law lec and tut!! Another numbed brain-sizzling day!! How nice could life get?

So damned hilarious yet weird at the same time. I actually saw my secondary school teacher on the TV!! LOL Miss Lai Lee Ching’s dancing and singing at the superstar audition which channel U has organized!! When I first stumbled upon the commercial of the part where my teacher was auditioning, I wasn’t that convinced it was her until after countless times of seeing that clip.

Yay yay.. June 23rd here comes ‘Initial D’… I read a news article that the movie’s sort of a chair gripping kind cos there’s a lot of car racing scenes LOL.. Can’t wait to see how Jay performed for his first movie!! The theme song ‘Piao Yi’, which he composed and sang is superb!! I have added it to the song list but sigh.. I can’t find the complete version.. Still, the music‘s pretty catchy.. Got me hooked .. =)

And here we talk about fire extinguishers.. Especially for this semester where we have to complete so many stuffs in a short period of time, we need fire extinguishers.. In case our brains are too saturated and overworked that it caught fire. -.-

Then there was this embarrassing moment of Shikin and I trying to force our way into the I-law chambers. That computer room in school is only for law students. To allow only authorized people in, our tutor in charge has built in an equipment on the wall beside the entrance of the room. The new implemented procedure is, we need to slot our matric cards so as to get in. If not, the door won’t open.

But oblivious of this news, Shikin and I pushed and pulled the door, forcing it to open but to no avail. Then instead of ‘push and pull’, we ‘pull and push’. But failed anyway. We got kind of panicked because we thought the teacher decided to lock us outside due to lateness for her class. When I peeped into the gap, I saw my other class mates but none seemed to notice us!! So like two morons we continued trying our very best to pry the door open. Until after about 5 minutes of futile attempts did Huda miraculously called Shikin’s phone and informed that we need to scan our matric cards. This is so silly.
